Apple's Price Policy in Turkey
Are we getting rich in a year?
Apple, the biggest company in the world. This is proved with researches of economic companies. Apple released their last iPhone model in their activity named “September Event.”
I always like Apple’s politics. They never changed their phone prices although they released their new phones. The people in United States can buy the new iPhone 6s with their monthly salaries. This is very normal. But the thing is, Turkey suffers a lot from the situation of currency.
This post’s topic is not “I can’t afford for the brand new iPhone 6s” actually. This post is “where are we going?” indeed.
Last year, when Apple released their iPhone 6 and their price is same $649 as always. In Turkey, the phone released with 2400₺ price tag. What about this year? Iphone 6s (16 gb) is still $649 in U.S. but 3200₺ in Turkey.
Think again, where we are going as Turkey? Where the minimum salary is still 1000₺. What about the Iphone 6s plus 128 gb model? It has 4300₺ price tag in Turkey. Think, with $4300, an American person can buy every different Apple product on sale now. (Iphone 6s plus, Ipad Air 2, Apple Watch, Macbook, Apple Tv and Ipod Touch) But the main thing is, people in Turkey will buy the bew Iphone again, although they say “we can’t earn money, we’re poor.”
This is a really serious thing, people change their target of spending their money. Number of people who care about having a home/apartment are decreasing day by day. Again, where are we going as Turkey?
